DMM Straddling Two African Countries
The quest to reach the nations for Christ through Disciple Making Movements continues to be the passion of disciples involved in an African indigenous ministry. In obedience to the command of the Lord Jesus, an outreach has targeted marginalized people groups for disciple-making and church-planting. One such group straddles two African countries. The predominant religions of this people group have made it difficult for earlier missionaries to start any work among them. Work that was done, if any, had little or no success.
Through the Disciple Making Movement strategy, believers are rejoicing in the Lord as they see some success among this people group as they turned to the Lord. In a region where there were no believers, now house churches have been planted. As a ministry, they are now developing believing leaders from among this people group to reach their own people. The seed has been sown, and now they are looking up to God to give increase to His own work.
Please join us in prayer that these new believers will have all the necessary training to reach their own people for Christ, and that through them, more churches will be planted and more disciples will be made, for the glory of God in this region of the world.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)
