Healing in Jesus' Name 
Recently, a front-line worker went to visit a house where the Bible is studied. As he arrived at the house, a neighbor of the family was unconscious. The worker went to visit the neighbor, and, as the family gathered, he shared with them about Jesus who heals and delivers the sick. Then he prayed for the unconscious woman. As he finished praying, by God’s grace, the woman regained consciousness. She asked to sit up, and then she started talking to the worker! He asks us to pray that this family will study the Bible and get to know Jesus as their Savior.
Another recent front-line story is about a lady who we will call Anita. She had been sick for many days, with her abdomen getting bigger and bigger. Anita went to many doctors and even a “witch doctor.” She found no solutions for her medical problem.
Then a church-planting team met Anita. They told her the story of Jesus, who healed the woman who had been bleeding for 12 years. The team prayed with Anita in Jesus’ name. Her abdomen returned to normal! When the team asked Anita what she felt when they prayed, she said she felt peace in her heart. Let’s give thanks to God for this miracle for Anita! The team also asks for prayer that Anita and her family will come to know the Lord and will want to be discipled. In addition, please pray that signs and wonders will continue to happen in the midst of non-believers and that field workers will stay humble and be persistent.
And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. (Luke 8:43-44, NIV)
